Return and Cancellation Policy

Returns

We want you to be happy. If for any reason you aren't happy with your purchase from The Crafts Banaras you can contact us for the same on thecraftsclothing@gmail.com. We would be more than happy to help and solve your query.

  • One can raise a return request within 3 days of delivery of the product.
  • No return/exchange request will be accepted after the given time frame.
  • Any cancellation request will be accepted only before dispatch of the order.

How do i return?

To raise a return request send us a direct WhatsApp message from the chat button on website with following credentials:

  • Order Number
  • Photo of the product you intend to return
  • Reason for returning the product

 

What items are returnable?

  • Only unstitched garments (saris, stoles and dupattas) are eligible for returns.
  • The item shouldn't have been used in any way.
  • They must be in original condition.
  • For clothing unwashed and unworn.
  • In the original packaging with all the tags etc. 
  • Items bought on sale/discounts are not eiligible for return.

Note: Returns will not be initiated for the sarees, if blouse has been stitched or fall/pico has been done.

    Orders with manufacturing defect/in damaged condition or dispatch of incorrect item.

    • If you receive your order in a damaged condition or with any manufacturing defect or it's not the product you ordered email us at thecraftsclothing@gmail.com within 24 hours of receiving the product.
    • In this case we will replace the product at no extra cost. If replacement is not possible we will let you choose an alternate product of the same value.
    • Any shipping cost related to returns will be borne by us for Indian residents.
    • For Overseas Residents customer has to bear the expenses regarding shipping of the returned product.

      Note: In case of handwoven products, there might be slight irregularities which shouldn't be considered as defects or damages.

      What's the next step after i raise a return request?

      • Upon receipt of your request we shall go through the same. 
      • You will get a confirmation email with shipping guidelines once the return request is approved.
      • You will get the replacement shipped to you at no cost at all.
      • If the replacement of the product is not possible, we will request you to pick an alternate product of the same value.

      Are there any charges for return?

      • There are no charges for return.
      • For Indian Residents Pickup for the product will be done from our end.

      • Any cost with regards to return of the product will be borne by us.

      • For Overseas Residents customer has to bear the expenses regarding shipping of the returned product.

       Will i get a refund?

      • After we receive the returned product, your refund will be processed within 1-2 working days in form of a store credit. Which can be used for any future purchases.
      • We will notify you via email regarding the same.

       

        In Case Of Customizations:

        • For customized orders if you are not happy with the customization you can write us at thecraftsclothing@gmail.com.
        • No refunds/replacement will be done for customized products

        Cancellations

        • Any cancellation request will be accepted only  if the request is made immediately after placing the order.
        • However, the cancellation request may not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to the vendors/merchants and they have initiated the process of shipping them.
        • After you cancel your order, you will receive a credit amount equivalent to the value of your order for any subsequent purchase on the website
        Disclaimer for Color and Description
        • Quality is of upmost importance at The Crafts Banaras and we put special efforts to publish the best quality pictures with true to life colors for our customers. But digital photography has its limitations. Though we strive to achieve accuracy, a lot of factors affect the way colors look different from real life compared to its digital version. Things like weather and lighting conditions and even the monitor settings of the viewer can cause a color variation.
        • The colors of the garment with shades of blue and green always photograph differently that the actual tone. The same can be said about many iridescent colors like Orange, Bright Pink and Purple.
        • Deep colors like Black, Dark Navy Blue and Dark Brown may look similar.
        • Also, Pale colors like off white, white, grey & cream look different in pictures depending on the lighting conditions in the studio at the time of shoot.
